Master drummer Saeed Abbas & the Gye Nyame Ensemble will be performing in downtown Port Townsend, Washington on 8/25/07. Join us for a high-energy evening of drum and dance with these incredible performers. Gye Nyame Ensemble will include West African drummers Saeed Abbas (Ghana), Karim Koumbassa (Guinea), Yaw (Ghana) plus Wade Wilcox (Whidbey). Port Townsend’s Village Drummers and Dancers will also be performing. Support these amazing drummers and artists ~ come dance to the rhythms and experience this cultural treat!
